After a long tender-process the LUMOSpro-project, in which most of the partners of the LUMOS-consortium are involved, has been granted co-funding by the Ruimte voor Geo-Informatie (RGI)- and the Habiforum Programmes.
The goal of the project will be to contribute to a knowledge infrastructure for the support of spatial planning. It will do so by providing theoretical foundations and practical adaptations of land use models for the Netherlands in order to improve and stimulate the use of these models in (spatial) policy discussions. More information about the project, its exact contents, sub-projects and partners can be found on the project website.
