Manual LanduseScanner

To use the LanduseScanner demo-version, you have to follow the next 6 steps:

1: Run the setup.exe from the DMS-BIN-SETUP-474.zip to install the DMS-software on your computer.
By default the DMS-software will be installed in: C:\Program Files\Object Vision\Dms474

2. Create a projectdirectory in which you will store your projectdata (e.g.  d:\landusescanner\projects). 

3. Unzip the zip-file which contains the demoprojectdata into the created projectdirectory (LUS-prj-474.zip).

4. In the D:\projects)\LUS_demo_rb474\cfg\demo  directory is a config.ini file. You can edit this file with an editor (f.i. notepad). In the config.ini you have to change the next line  ‘projdir=D:\landusescanner\projects\LUS_demo_rb474’ to the path where you created your projectdirectory. For instance: If you created a projectdirectory on drive C: called demo-project you have to rename  ‘projdir=D:\ruimtescanner\projects\LUS_demo_rb474’ into ‘projdir=C:\demo-project\LUS_demo_rb474’. 

5. To start the LanduseScanner push the START-button and choose the DMS_474 button. Or in the explorer doubleclick C:\Program Files\Object Vision\Dms474\DMSClient.exe.


6. To start the demo-project in the LanduseScanner use <File | Open Configuration File> or Ctrl+O to open the ‘demo.dms’ which is in your projectdirectory  ‘D:\landusescanner\projects\LUS_demo_rb474\cfg’ or in your created projectdirectory\LUS_demo_rb474\cfg (f.i. C:\demo-project\LUS_demo_rb474\cfg).
